| What You Get When You Adopt Your Senior Cat
MATURE PERSONALITY
A cat’s personality can change a great deal on the road to adulthood. With a mature kitty you are able to see his/her fully developed personality
LESS ACTIVITY/WORK
Young kittens are so adorable, but they can be a lot of work. Mature cats have settled into themselves and know how to enjoy quality
quiet time with you. Mature cats often love to cuddle in your lap or near you and have been
known to play and entertain their human
LOTS OF LOVE TO GIVE
It is said that shelter/rescue animals know they are being given a second
chance when they get a new home and that they are extremely grateful, showing
this gratitude with their love & loyalty. We believe this is even truer with mature cats who are looking for a new,
loving human companion.
LESS HOUSEKEEPING
All of our cats are litter box trained. All they will need is a well maintained litter box.
|
FACTORS TO CONSIDER BEFORE ADOPTING YOUR CAT
Cats can sometimes end up underfoot and possibly cause a tripping hazard.
A brightly colored collar with a bell can increase awareness of the cats
location.
Cats require litter boxes that will need regular cleaning. Since litter
can be heavy,
and cats are good jumpers you may consider putting the box on an elevated
table
to minimize your bending or lifting.
Do you have transportation for trips to the vet? Do you have the financial
resources? |
